Choose from manual setup, time-saving templates, or AI-powered Magic Jobs.

Jobs help you track recurring or one-time work across your client base. You can build a job manually or quickly generate one using a templateβ€”or let Client Hub’s AI help you create a task list in seconds.


βœ… 3 Ways to Create a Job

From the Internal Workspace tab of a client, navigate to the Jobs panel and click one of the three buttons at the top right:

  1. βž• Blue Plus Button – Create a new job from scratch
  2. πŸ“„ Load from Templates Icon – Use a saved firm or Client Hub template
  3. ✨ Magic Workflow Icon – Generate a job using AI by describing your workflow

✍️ Option 1: Create a Job Manually

  1. Select the client from the My Client List in the left navigation.
  2. Go to the Internal Workspace tab.
  3. In the Jobs panel, click the βž• Add button.

    In the details panel:

    • Enter a Job Title (required)
    • Add an optional description
    • Assign a staff member
    • Set the Scheduled Start Date and Due Date
  4. (Optional) Enable Repeat and define recurring rules via Edit Rules

    Add your task list:

    • Click to enter each task
    • Click into each one to add rich instructions (text, links, lists, videos, etc.)

Jobs are auto-saved as you work.


πŸ“„ Option 2: Create from a Job Template

  1. Click the Load from Templates icon (πŸ“„).
  2. Choose from your Firm Templates or Client Hub Templates.
  3. Click Create Job on the selected template.
  4. Review and adjust tasks as needed to fit your client’s process.

✨ Option 3: Use Magic Workflow (AI-Powered Job Creation)

  1. Click the Magic Workflow (✨) icon.
  2. Enter a description of the job you want to create.

    Example: β€œHow to process year-end 1099s using QuickBooks Online.”

  3. Client Hub will auto-generate a job with task suggestions.
  4. Review the tasks and edit them as needed before saving the job.

πŸ”„ Recurring Jobs

  • Toggle the Repeat setting ON.
  • Click Edit Rules to define frequency and recurrence pattern.
  • When the job is marked Completed, the next occurrence is auto-generated using the same task structure.
