The Pinned Panel in Client Hub’s Internal Workspace allows your team to highlight important items across a client workspace so they are easy to track and act on. Pinned items stay visible to everyone with access to the workspace, helping teams manage follow-ups and responsibilities without searching through multiple tabs.


πŸ“ What Can Be Pinned?

Practice Users can pin the following items:

βœ… Client Tasks

πŸ’¬ Messages in Conversations

πŸ“§ Emails

πŸ“‹ Jobs

πŸ“ Client Notes

Pinned items appear together in the Pinned Panel, creating a shared list of important items for the team.


πŸ“Œ How to Pin an Item

  1. Hover over a supported item (task, message, email, job, or note).
  2. Click the Pin icon.
  3. The item will immediately appear in the Pinned Panel.

Pinned items remain visible in the panel until they are unpinned.


πŸ”„ Update the Status of a Pinned Item

Each pinned item includes a Change Status menu that allows you to track progress.

Available status options:

βœ… Done – Indicates the item has been completed.

πŸ“Œ To-Do – Indicates the item still requires action.

Clicking the status button toggles between Done and To-Do.

This status helps the team quickly understand whether a pinned item still requires attention.


πŸ‘€ Assign Responsibility

Pinned items can also be assigned to a team member.

  1. Open the pinned item menu.
  2. Locate Who Needs To Take Action?
  3. Select a Practice User from the dropdown.

Assigning responsibility helps clarify ownership and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.


❌ Remove an Item from the Pinned Panel

If an item is no longer needed in the panel:

  1. Open the pinned item menu.
  2. Click Unpin.

The item will immediately be removed from the Pinned Panel.


πŸ“§ Email Completion vs. Pinned Status

If the pinned item is an email, you may see a Mark as Done option within the email interface.

Important:

Marking the email as done does not change the status of the pinned item. The pinned item’s Done / To-Do status must be updated separately in the pinned item menu.
