๐จHow to Modify the Initial Client Task in Client Hub
Need to make changes to the initial Client Task in a workflow? You can edit the task at any time using the steps below.
๐ Editing the Initial Client Task
- Click on the Client Task card to open the details in the slider panel.
- Click the Actions icon (โฏ) in the top-right corner.
- Select Edit from the dropdown menu.
- Make your changes, then click Save Changes.
๐ Updating Tasks After Theyโve Been Sent
If the Client Task has already been sent to the client, you can still make updates by editing the task. However, depending on the changes, this may affect existing responses or uploaded files.

If you need additional information or files from a client after sending a task, consider adding a comment instead of editing the task. This helps preserve existing activity and keeps communication clear within the task.
If you need to retain a file, download a copy before making changes, as files are not duplicated within Client Hub.
