✏️ How to Move Client Tasks in a Job Out of Draft
Client Tasks created inside a Job will remain in Draft until published. Draft mode lets you prepare and review tasks before they are visible to the client.
There are two ways to publish Draft tasks:
✅ Manual Publish
Use the green Create this Client Task button next to the Draft task to publish it immediately.

🚀 Auto-Pilot
If the Job has Auto-Pilot enabled, you can configure how many days before the Job’s start date the tasks should auto-publish to clients.
⚠️ Only Client Tasks that are the first task in the Job (and before any other task type) can publish automatically with Auto-Pilot. Any Client Tasks that follow other tasks in the Job must be published manually.

📂 Using Job Templates, Magic Workflow, or Create a Job
No matter how you create a Job — whether from a Job Template, using Magic Workflow, or clicking the Create a Job button — Client Tasks will always start in Draft status.
Once created, you can:
- Publish tasks manually using Create this Client Task
- Enable Auto-Pilot in the Job so tasks publish automatically on schedule (when Client Tasks are the first tasks in the Job)
💡 Tip: Auto-Pilot works best when Client Tasks are positioned first in your Job so they can publish automatically.
