✅ How to Close or Delete QuickBooks Items in Client Hub

If you've already updated a transaction directly in QuickBooks Online, the item won’t automatically update or close in Client Hub. To maintain accuracy in your workspace, you’ll need to close or delete the task manually in Client Hub.


🔁 Recommended Workflow

If you're reviewing QuickBooks items in Client Hub:

  1. Select the correct account within the Client Hub task pane.
  2. Click "Submit" to the update the items.
  3. Click Close to trigger the integration to push the selected details back to QuickBooks.
  4. Then, mark the item as Closed to finalize it in Client Hub.

🗑 How to Delete an Item (if no longer needed)

If the task no longer needs action or was resolved another way:

  1. Click on the transaction row to open the details panel on the right.
  2. Click the Actions menu (⋯) in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Delete Task from the dropdown menu.

⚠️ Note: Once deleted, the task is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Avoid making updates in QuickBooks before reviewing the related Client Task in Client Hub. This keeps your workflows aligned and ensures that updates are captured correctly across both platforms.
