đź—‚ Deleting (Archiving) a Client Workspace

If you’re no longer working with a client but want to retain their history for future reference, you can archive their workspace. Archiving removes client access but keeps the workspace and its data available to your firm’s team.

⚠️ When someone says “remove a client”

Firm users often use the word client to mean different things. It may refer to:

  • A Client Workspace (the entire client company workspace), or
  • A Client User (a person who has access to that workspace).

Before removing anything, first determine which one you want to remove:

  • If you want to remove the entire client company, you’ll Archive the Client Workspace using the steps below.
  • If you only want to remove someone’s access, you’ll remove the Client User from the workspace instead.

This article explains how to archive a Client Workspace.
