đź“§ Connecting a Microsoft 365 (Office 365 / Outlook.com) Email Account to Client Hub
Client Hub makes it easy to sync your Microsoft email account so you can manage client communications directly within your workflow. Follow the steps below to complete the connection.
⚙️ Prerequisite for Microsoft 365 Organizational Accounts
If you're using Microsoft 365 (not Outlook.com), an administrator must enable access for your account to connect via IMAP and SMTP.
âś… How to Enable IMAP & SMTP Access:
- Go to the Microsoft 365 Admin Portal: https://admin.microsoft.com/
- Ensure IMAP and Authenticated SMTP are authorized for the user(s) who will be connecting their email.
- SMTP and IMAP: For each user, follow these steps in the Microsoft 365 Admin portal:
- Go to Users - Active Users. Select the user (or in Exchange admin, select Recipients in left sidebar and then Mailboxes, then select the user)
- In the flyout that appears, select Mail
- In the Email apps section, select Manage Email Apps
Check to enable Authenticated SMTP and IMAP
đź”’ Outlook.com users: This step is not required for personal Outlook.com accounts.
🔑 Connect Your Microsoft Email in Client Hub
Once prerequisites are met:
- Click the Inbox icon in the left-hand menu of Client Hub.
- Click the Connect Account button.
- Select Microsoft as your provider.
- A dialog will appear prompting you to log in with your Microsoft credentials.
- Authorize Client Hub to access your email data by consenting to the app.

Your administrator may need to set the permission to "Allow user consent for apps".

âś… Final Steps & Sync Confirmation
If everything is set up correctly:
- You'll see a confirmation that emails are now syncing from your Microsoft account.
- The initial sync may take a few minutes.
- The page will not auto-refresh—navigate to a different page and return to the Inbox, then refresh your browser to view synced emails.
