😵‍💫Troubleshooting QuickBooks Connection Issues

When connecting QuickBooks Online (QBO) to Client Hub, you should see a pop-up window where you’ll be prompted to sign in with your Intuit login (or select a company if you’re already logged in). If instead you see a page loading indicator that doesn’t progress, try the steps below.

1. Look for the QuickBooks pop-up 🔍

The sign-in window may be opening behind your browser or on a different monitor if you use more than one.

  • Minimize your main browser window to check behind it.
  • If you have multiple monitors, drag your browser across each screen to see if the pop-up appeared elsewhere.

2. Check your browser pop-up settings ⚙️

QuickBooks requires a pop-up window to appear. If pop-ups are blocked, the connection can’t complete.

  • In your browser, confirm that pop-ups are allowed for Client Hub.
  • Refresh the page and try again.

3. Try again after clearing cache or switching browsers 🔄

If the connection still doesn’t load:

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  • Try using a different browser (for example, switch from Chrome to Edge, or Safari to Chrome).

4. Still stuck? Contact Support 💜

If you continue to have trouble, we’re here to help!

  • In Client Hub, go to the Get Help link in the left navigation. Wait 10–15 seconds, and a purple Get Help bubble will appear in the lower-left corner.
  • Or email us at support@clienthub.app.
