✅ Managing Client Tasks on the Client Hub Mobile App
The Client Hub mobile app makes it easy to manage client tasks on the go. You can create tasks, view requests, upload documents, update details, and track progress — all from your phone.
➕ Creating a Client Task
You can create a new client task directly from the Client Hub mobile app.
- Tap to create a new task
- Enter the task details or question
- Select the response type (for example, File, Yes/No, or Accept/Decline)
- Set a due date if needed
- Tap Save Changes
Once created, the task will appear in your Client Tasks list.
📋 Viewing Client Tasks
Go to the Client Tasks tab at the top of the screen.
You’ll see a list of tasks in a card view.
Each task card shows:
- The status (Open or Answered)
- The task description (for example, “Upload Tax Return”)
- The due date (if one has been set)
- Any attached files
- A comment icon if there are messages on the task
👆 Opening and Previewing Tasks
- Tap a task card to open and view full details
- Long press a task card to preview the task without fully opening it
From the task view, you can take additional actions like editing or updating the task.
🔧 Task Actions
When viewing a task, you can:
- Edit the task details
- Set or update the due date
- Mark the task as complete
- Delete the task if needed
These actions make it easy to manage tasks directly from your mobile device.
🔽 Filtering Tasks
Use the Open / Closed filter to switch between active and completed tasks.
- Open shows tasks that still need attention
- Closed shows completed tasks
📎 Uploading Files to a Task
Tap Select File under the task.
A Select a source menu will appear with these options:
- From Camera — take a new photo
- From Gallery — select a photo already saved on your device
- From Files — choose a document from your phone’s storage
- Scan Documents — use your camera to scan and upload a document
- Cancel — close the menu without uploading
After choosing the source, select the file you want to upload.
The file will appear attached to the task.
Tap Submit when you’re ready to attach it to the task.
✍️ Task Status
When a client responds or uploads the requested information, the task status updates to Answered.
Answered tasks remain visible in the Open filter until they are reviewed and closed.
Once closed, the task moves to the Closed filter.
