👥 Adding Firm Users to a Client Workspace

There are two ways to assign firm users to a client workspace in Client Hub. You can either assign users directly from the client record or manage assignments from your firm’s user settings.


📍 Option 1: Assign Staff from Client Details

This is the quickest way to add firm users while working inside a specific client.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the client from the Client List
  2. Click the Client Details tab
  3. Scroll to the People section
  4. Select the Staff tab
  5. Click the Assign Staff User button
  6. Choose the firm user you want to assign

Once assigned, the staff member will immediately have access to that client workspace.



⚙️ Option 2: Assign Clients from Manage Firm Users

This method is helpful when managing multiple users or updating assignments in bulk.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Manage Firm Users
  3. Locate the user you want to assign
  4. Click Manage Assignments next to their name
  5. Select the client(s) you want to assign to that user
  6. Save your changes

This allows you to control access across multiple clients from one place.



đź’ˇ Tips

  • Only Admin and Staff roles can be assigned to client workspaces
  • Assigning users ensures they can access Client Workspace, File Manager, and Internal Workspace areas for that client
  • If a user does not appear in the list, make sure they’ve been added under Manage Firm Users first

Both methods achieve the same result—use whichever fits best with your workflow.
