Which action you see β€” Cancel or Delete β€” depends on the request’s current status.

  1. Go to the File Manager.
  2. Click eSignature Docs.
  3. Locate the request.
  4. If the request is a Draft, click Delete Request and confirm. This removes the request entirely.
  5. If the request is in any other status besides Completed, click Cancel Request and confirm. This recalls the request and removes it as well.

πŸ“ Note: Completed requests can’t be cancelled or deleted.

πŸ“ Note: Requests left unsigned for 30 days automatically move to Expired status and can’t be signed until you extend them. If you still need the document signed, extend the request instead of cancelling it. See πŸ–ŠοΈ Requesting and Managing eSignatures in Client Hub for the steps. Older requests created before the move to Zoho Sign may not be extendable.

πŸ“ Note: On the Client Hub Mobile App, the same rule applies β€” Cancel or Delete is available only when the request is in an eligible state on the web.
