📝How to Edit, Update, or Delete a Client Task Template


Need to make changes to an existing template or remove one you no longer need? You can edit, update, or delete Client Task Templates from your settings.


✏️ Editing or Updating a Template

  1. Go to Settings > Client Hub.
  2. Locate the Client Task Templates section.
  3. Find the template you want to update.
  4. Click the Actions icon (⋯).
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Make your changes, then click Save.

🗑 Deleting a Template

  1. Go to Settings > Client Hub.
  2. Locate the Client Task Templates section.
  3. Find the template you want to delete.
  4. Click the Actions icon (⋯).
  5. Select Delete.

NOTE:  Once deleted, the template cannot be recovered.


🔒 Important

Templates are separate from live Client Tasks. Editing or deleting a template does not impact any Client Tasks that have already been created or sent to clients.


💡 Best Practices

  • Review templates periodically to ensure instructions stay accurate and up to date.
  • Use clear, specific naming so your team can easily select the right template.
  • When making significant changes, consider creating a new template instead of overwriting an existing one to preserve consistency across workflows.
