📝How to Edit, Update, or Delete a Client Task Template
Need to make changes to an existing template or remove one you no longer need? You can edit, update, or delete Client Task Templates from your settings.
✏️ Editing or Updating a Template
- Go to Settings > Client Hub.
- Locate the Client Task Templates section.
- Find the template you want to update.
- Click the Actions icon (⋯).
- Select Edit.
- Make your changes, then click Save.
🗑 Deleting a Template
- Go to Settings > Client Hub.
- Locate the Client Task Templates section.
- Find the template you want to delete.
- Click the Actions icon (⋯).
- Select Delete.
NOTE: Once deleted, the template cannot be recovered.
🔒 Important
Templates are separate from live Client Tasks. Editing or deleting a template does not impact any Client Tasks that have already been created or sent to clients.
💡 Best Practices
- Review templates periodically to ensure instructions stay accurate and up to date.
- Use clear, specific naming so your team can easily select the right template.
- When making significant changes, consider creating a new template instead of overwriting an existing one to preserve consistency across workflows.
