🔔 Understanding Client Hub Notifications (Accountant Users)

Stay informed with the right alerts, at the right time.

Client Hub provides smart, timely notifications to keep your team in the loop—without overwhelming your inbox. Here’s how notifications work for accountant users across different areas of the platform:


A. Client Conversation Activity

You’ll be notified when a client sends a message or uploads a file in the Conversations panel.

You’ll receive notifications via:

  • ✅ Blue Unread Indicator next to the client workspace name
  • ✅ Mobile Notification (if you’ve installed the app and enabled notifications)
  • ✅ Email Notification (only if you haven’t already viewed the message in the workspace)

💡 Tip: You can stop receiving email notifications by unfollowing the workspace.


B. Client Task Activity

When a client responds to a Client Task, you’ll be alerted.

You’ll receive notifications via:

  • ✅ Notification Bell in Client Hub
  • ✅ Mobile Notification
  • ✅ Email Notification (unless you’ve already viewed the notification in-app)

🔕 To stop these notifications, simply unfollow the workspace.


C. File Uploads in the File Manager

When a client adds a file to a folder in their workspace’s File Manager, you’ll be notified.

You’ll receive notifications via:

  • ✅ Notification Bell
  • ✅ Mobile Notification
  • ✅ Email Notification (unless already viewed)

🔕 Like other client activity, these notifications are disabled if you unfollow the workspace.


D. Internal Workspace Activity

Notifications here are tied to direct actions involving you:

  • 📌 When a Job is assigned to you
  • 💬 When you’re @mentioned in a Job Comment

You’ll receive notifications via:

  • ✅ Notification Bell
  • ✅ Email Notification

🔒 These notifications are always sent, even if you’re not following the workspace, since they’re directly targeted to you.


🧭 Managing Notifications

  • Use the Follow/Unfollow Workspace feature to control client-based alerts. This setting can be found in your User Profile.
  • Ensure mobile notifications are enabled in your device’s settings to stay updated on the go.
  • Regularly check the Notification Bell for a centralized list of recent activity.
