🔔 Understanding Notifications in Client Hub (Client Users)
Client users can stay updated and never miss a message or task.
Client Hub sends helpful notifications to make it easy for your clients to stay on top of messages, requests, and reminders from your accountant or bookkeeper. Here’s how notifications work for client users:
A. Conversation Activity
Whenever your accounting firm sends you a message or uploads a file in the Conversations panel, you’ll be notified.
You’ll receive notifications via:
- ✅ Blue Unread Indicator next to the workspace name
- ✅ Mobile Notification (if you’ve installed the app and enabled notifications)
- ✅ Email Notification (if you haven’t already viewed the message in the workspace)
💡 Tip: Messages are real-time, so you can respond quickly without switching to email.
B. Client Task Activity
When your accountant assigns a new Client Task or sends you a Task Reminder, you’ll get notified so you can respond promptly.
You’ll receive notifications via:
- ✅ Notification Bell at the top of your Client Hub dashboard
- ✅ Mobile Notification
- ✅ Email Notification (if you haven’t already viewed the task)
