✏️ Update User First and Last Name
Users can now update their own first and last name directly in Client Hub, giving both firm users and clients more flexibility in keeping their profile information accurate.
✨ What’s New
- Firm and client users can update their own first and last name
- Updates apply to the user’s profile information
- A page refresh may be required to see updates on already open pages
- Firm users can update a client’s Contact name if needed
👤 For Client Users
Client users can update their name at any time from My Account.
- Changes update their user profile
- Updates may not immediately appear on pages that were already open
- Refreshing the page will display the updated name
🏢 For Firm Users
Firm users can update a client user’s name from Client Details.
- This updates the Contact information only
- It does not update the client user’s My Account name
- It does not change the user’s displayed name across Client Hub
This allows your team to maintain internal contact records separately from the client user’s profile.
🔐 Notes on Visibility
- User profile names and Contact names are managed separately
- Most areas of Client Hub display the User’s profile name
- Contact name updates are used for record-keeping and do not override the user’s displayed name
- A page refresh may be required to see recent profile updates
💡 When to Use This
This enhancement is helpful when:
- A user needs to correct or update their own name
- Your firm wants to maintain internal contact records
- You need to track contact details separately from user profile information
Keeping user and contact information accurate helps ensure better communication and cleaner records across Client Hub.
